Tequesta Home Watch Service is run by owners Meredith and Carl Cores. Meredith was raised in this area and Carl is originally from Germany, but began calling South Florida home over thirty years ago.
As former seasonal residents, we know how important it is to have someone you can trust to keep an eye on your home. We were snowbirds for a time residing in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Our Florida home watch service alerted us to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit while performing a check and contacted us immediately about the problem. They assisted in handling the situation which would have been difficult for us since we were over a thousand miles away. It’s scary to think of the mold and mayhem we would have faced without having a home watch business looking out for our home!
The biggest part of being a snowbird in South Florida is hurricane season from June 1 through November 30. Carl and his family had their home destroyed during Hurricane Andrew in 1992. We have lived through tropical storm warnings and watches and other hurricanes. This real-life experience will help us help you make sure your property is prepared prior to a hurricane and cared for after a hurricane has passed.
